Störling Dance Theater joins forces with the exquisite Spire Chamber Ensemble.  Spire’s pristine musical skill is a perfect match for Störling’s passion, broad technical ability and innovative interpretive style.  They will approach bringing Faure’s Requiem to life in spaces that will both acoustically and visually will enhance and profoundly enrich this classical masterpiece.  Spire Ensemble will follow this with a presentation of Long’s expressionistic, The Little Match Girl.

Over Störling’s 20 year history, Mona Störling-Enna, Tobin James and guest choreographers have created pieces of stunning beauty, emotional power and simple elegance with casts as few as one to over 60.  Greatest Hits is a collection of the smaller pieces which have captivated audiences who have called for them to be repeated over the last 2 decades.  Greatest Hits will include James’ Jiggy, Störling-Enna’s Ave Verum, as well as the solo work which established Mona Störling-Enna as a talent to watch, In Simon’s House.
