Amy Hull

Born and raised in Olathe, Kansas, Amy Hull started her ballet training at the age of 8 at Greenleaf Performing Arts Academy. By the time she was 13, her love for movement was solidified. She began performing on a more regular basis at age 14 with the pre-professional performance company at her studio.

Through her middle school and high school years she enjoyed being trained and pushed by Kimberly Watson, Lindsey Dineen, Ivy EuDaly and Kimberly Holloway. Her training throughout these years included training in Vaganova and Cecchetti for Ballet, introduction to Horton and Graham for Modern and classical Jazz.

Once graduated from high school, Amy was accepted into Störling Conservatory of Dance, where she had the pleasure to continue her training in these styles, as well as Bill Evans technique, under the guidance of Kathleen Schuler, Mona Störling-Enna, Courtney Bourman, Suzanne Ryan-Strati, Alexandra Wilson, Tiffany Best and many more for two years.

The greatest pleasure Amy finds in dance is exploring new ways of portraying emotion and stories on stage. Since joining the Conservatory, she has had the pleasure of performing original works by Suzanne Ryan-Strati, Hannah Anderson, Courtney Bourman, Kimberly Holloway, Caitlin Pettijohn and Daintry TenNaple. Each of these pieces has grown and stretched her to become the dancer she is today.

Amy is so excited to be starting her apprenticeship with Störling Dance Theater and is grateful for all the opportunities that God has blessed her with in the past few years!
