Join us for the return of Störling Dance Theater's renowned Underground! In its 18th year of impactful performances, Underground recounts the stories of the Underground Railroad where men and women came together to fight the evils of slavery with good. Through Mona Störling-Enna's poignant storytelling and the dedicated performances of the artists, this soulful ballet vividly depicts the journey of three escaped slaves and the myriad characters they encounter along the way. Graphic and gripping, Underground both challenges and encourages audience members to follow in the steps of those who have gone before.
Join us as we get back to our roots with this dynamic performance in two acts! The first act offers a bill of mixed repertoire pieces. It includes a sneak peek premiere of Mona Störling-Enna’s newest work, which gives audiences a view into her own Nordic roots.
For the second act, Störling Dance Theater's beloved classic Suspended Grace returns to the stage after nearly two decades. Telling the riveting, biblical story of the woman caught in adultery, Suspended Grace masterfully shares a glimpse into the woman's perspective and the true love with which she is ultimately met.

Störling Dance Theater celebrates the season with a collection of works, including never-before-seen pieces by a variety of choreographers!
Inspired by the iconic work of art by the same name, Störling Dance Theater’s Book of Kells returns to The Folly Theater. Premiered in 2022, this poignant story combines beautiful choreography, live narration and Celtic music to craft a brilliantly detailed world where culture, sacrifice and forgiveness collide.
Professional dancers are invited to audition for Störling Dance Theater’s 2023-2024 season.
Auditions will include Ballet, Pointe (optional) and Modern. Brief interviews will follow the dance portion.
